memory is non-linear - fuzzy in outline - transient in nature. when called upon its answer will most certainly be tainted with subjective emotion.
i'm interested in autobiographical memory - true and false - internal monologue and obsession. layered marks and material reveal a fuzzy history of fleeting emotion - leaving a visible memory. each work is a series of miscalculated decisions - referencing time and obsession - through a compulsion to create without logical reason. i revise and edit intuitively as i age with every piece.
